Our work
The HUF Institute exists to help people become more capable, more agentic, and more reliable in the conditions they actually live and work in. We give people a way to understand where their capability is available now, where it is being constrained, and how to strengthen the link between attention, choice, commitment and action through proprietary systems, training, and rigorous research.
EVALUTATION
How capable are you?
Capability and agency are not about good intentions. They depend on what remains available when time, pressure, responsibility, uncertainty and other demands are acting on you.
The HUF Capability Assessment is a free online evaluation of your current capability state, that shows you where your attention, action, and agency are holding, where they are being constrained, and where your future development should focus.

PATHWAYS
From evaluation to Capability + Agency
Start with the Capability Assessment, then move into a pathway informed by your current capability state.
HUF Institute programmes turn evaluation into deeper interpretation, recorded progression and targeted domain-based protocols that help you develop capability and agency over time.

Profile + Dossier
A detailed evaluation with tailored recommendations and a written record you can keep.

Protocols
The methods, cycles and training programmes through which capability is developed.
ADVANCED ROUTE
Elite Capability Programme
For a small number of participants, The HUF Institute offers a deeper route into evaluation, protocol design, evidence review and progression.
The Elite Programme is built for people whose work, responsibility or operating conditions demand a more exacting level of capability and elevated agency. Access is considered through the pathways, once current capability, evidence and development needs are clear; entry is by invitation only.
Limited direct applications will be considered from those who meet the strict eligibility criteria, which is available on request.

The Six Domains of Capability
At The HUF Institute we examine the conditions that shape when, how, and why capability is available: structure, identity, resources, human dynamics, physical readiness, recovery and integration.
We consider Capability and Agency through the lens of six interconnected domains, scaffolded by an overall proprietary Human Capability Framework. These six domains provide the map to understanding and improving where capability is holding, where agency is being constrained, and where development should focus.
Inside the HUF Institute
The HUF Institute exists to help people become more capable, more agentic and more reliable in the conditions they actually face.
The Institute is structured to support each unique pathway from first entry through assessment, profile, protocols, evidence, review and progression. Each location has a distinct role in that sequence, combining expert input, technology-enabled methods, advanced analytics, and purpose-designed facilities.
This allows capability and agency development to be treated as a governed, sustained process, with clearer standards, continuity and direction beyond any single result.

The House
Set on a small private estate in the heart of England, The House is the core HUF location for evaluation, review and protocol grounding. It gives our pathway a physical centre: a place where current capability can interpreted, development direction is clarified, and the work begins to move beyond a single result.

The Mill
The Mill is HUF’s applied capability site: a repurposed industrial facility in Florida, built for pressure, simulation, technical feedback and tested progression. It is where capability is placed under more demanding conditions, reviewed through evidence, and refined through protocol work.
